LIFE LESSONS FROM 109-YEAR-OLD VETERAN RICHARD OVERTON

There’s nothing better than receiving first-hand life lessons from the elders as they are a wealth of wisdom.

Such is the case with America’s oldest veteran, Richard Overton, who at the age of 109, is happy and content with his life. Overton was born in 1906 and served in the United States Army during World War II.

One of his secrets to being happy and fulfilled is living a life of love, self-care and always having a positive outlook. Here’s the short film of his life from National Geographic:
