For the longest time, I’ve held the perception that my 20s are better suited for pursuing a career rather than love.
I believe that the 20s are the only time I’ll get to build a meaningful foundation for my career, and also practically speaking, work takes up so much of my time that I struggle with balancing time for work, family and friends, so much so that my only significant downtime is when I take a break to eat lunch.
According to research, work and relationships are not incompatible, and it’s important to not neglect one side by giving too much attention to the other.
