Interfaith relationships are as much of a norm as intercultural and interracial relationships as people choose to love the person they’re with and embrace differences, which are ultimately part of the human story.

According to relationship experts, different beliefs do not have to mean the end of a relationship, especially if both partners are respectful of each other’s beliefs and have open and honest communication about different beliefs, lifestyle choices that stem from those beliefs and where they want to stand in relation to those.

  1. I married a non-Christian hoping I could introduce him to the Lord but it didn’t work. Plus it was just hard. I don’t think it’s a deal breaker but it will be a challenge and at some point before marriage… you have to decide. Whether it breaks the deal or not.
